This random object can amuses someone from minutes to hours bending and poking away with it is rather fun when there is absolutely nothing to do.
Rubber Band
Do you ever remember flicking one of these around for well over ten minutes just because you could? Well, that's why it is on this list it can also be used in conjunction with many other objects to keep you occupied for hours on end.
A Piece of Paper

Anything sharp really...like have you ever sat at your desk and tried to cut it in half with a laminated business card? Or sat near a balloon with anything sharp without almost dieing trying not to blow it up in front of someone's face...point made.
